All rumors about iPad 3

The release date of next generation iPad, which may be called iPad 3, is close, the rumors about this magic device are everywhere. Here is the summary from Kreg, author of Divx to iPad.

1) Better screen:
iPad 3 screen resolution will reach 2048*1536, this means that you can watch Blu-ray movies on the iPad 3.

2) Faster processor:
There are lots of debates whether iPad 3 will use dual-core or quad-core CPU. The processor in iPad 3 will be S5L8945X from Samsung. The spec of this CPU is top secret of Samsung. Since iPad 2 is the first tablet computer using dual-core processor. And Nvidia has already introduced Quad-core processor for tablet computer, it’s possible for Apple to introduce Quad-core CPU in iPad 3.

3) Siri:
There is no news that iPad 3 will have Siri implemented. If iPad 3 wants to support Siri, the microphone should be improved. There is indeed some news that iPad 3 will have different microphone from iPad 2.

4) Bluetooth 4.0
iPad 3 will use the same bluetooth chip as iPhone 4S, which is developed by Broadcom with lower power consumption and faster transission speed.

5)Thunderbolt:
No, iPad 3 has no reason to support Thunderbolt.

6) NFC
Some person from Foxconn said iPhone 5 had NFC, but no more info about iPad 3. I suspect that.

7)Gorilla glass:
Gorilla glass is lighter and harder than old version. So I believe iPad 3 will use the new Gorilla glass.

8)128GB storage:
No, since Apple introduced iCloud in last year, I don’t think Apple will introduce 128GB iPad 3.

9)LTE:
LET will increase the weight and power consumption. And LTE chip is not mature, so I don’t think iPad 3 will support LTE.

In particular publishing iPad mini casts its shadow ahead, some analysts believe due to the Amazon Kindle fire, that Apple will bring an iPad mini in the market, other experts in turn look at such a device as unrealistic.

Tablet PCs were iPads at the beginning of Apple as such still smiled, now trying desperately to bring almost all manufacturers a successful model in the market.
